Ralph commenced his legal career at Ikeyi Egudu & Co. (now Ikeyi & Arifayan) as an associate. At Ikeyi & Arifayan he actively provided transactional support services, including legal/tax audits, foreign investment structuring, finance/tax advisory, corporate finance, immigration matters, etc. Also, he worked as a litigation counsel at the High court and appellate court levels.

He joined the firm in November 2006 as an associate, a position he held until September 2007.

He joined the Lekki Concession Company (LCC) in September 2007. At LCC, he played active role in the negotiation and conclusion of the award-winning 400 million US Dollars Lekki Epe Road expansion financing.

He returned to the Firm in January 2009 as a senior counsel and has since worked extensively and advised on commercial transactions locally and offshore, focusing on intellectual property, real estate, infrastructure and energy, regulations, and compliance.

He holds a Master of Laws (LL.M) degree from the Boston University School of Law, MA, United States. As part of his LLM programme, he also attended classes at Etvos Lorand University, Budapest, Hungary. He designed an FCPA compliance programme for a subsidiary of a foreign multinational as his final project.

He is an associate member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (CITN).

He is the Managing Partner and coordinates the Commercial, Real Estate, Regulatory and Corporate Group.
